The owners and Personal Trainers of Reach, Don Larkin and Charlene Hinish, are both fitness, wellness, and athletic coaching veterans. With a total of more than 45 years combined experience, Don, Charlene, and their team believe in making your training a fun experience, rather than a monotonous chore.
Don Larkin
Don earned his bachelor of science degree in Exercise Science from the California University of Pennsylvania. He is a USA Triathlon Level 2 Coach, National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer, National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, and USA Triathlon Certified Official.
In addition to the occasional multisport endurance race, Don stays active riding his triathlon and mountain bikes, and swimming with a Masters swimming group. He also enjoys cooking, travel, and doing home remodeling projects.

Charlene Hinish
With a lifelong desire to help people be well, Charlene Hinish found the perfect fit for her second career in the health and wellness industry and chose to pursue her certifications in personal training and health and wellness coaching after her own personal journey towards better fitness and wellbeing. Wanting others to feel good on the inside as well as the outside, Charlene ventured into the fitness industry in 2003 as a Les Mills Body Combat instructor and received her ACE Personal Training Certification in 2005. Later in 2005, for her 40th birthday, she participated in her first of many sprint triathlons. Charlene holds certifications through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the Functional Aging Institute (FAI), WellCoaches and TRX. She is also a Narrative Coach Enhanced Practitioner and has extensive continuing education in nutrition. Charlene acquired her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Juniata College.

RACHEL BURNS
Rachel’s love for exercise started when she was in junior high school playing volleyball and continued through her high school and college career. She knew quickly that she wanted to make health and fitness a lifetime passion. Rachel received her bachelors of Exercise Science from Lebanon Valley College and also found a huge passion in practicing yoga during that time. Rachel got certified to teach yoga in her senior year of college and has been teaching since as an E-RYT 200. From there, her dedication to health and fitness took off. She managed a yoga studio in Raleigh, NC, did personal training on the side, then returned to PA and became an Exercise Physiologist at WellSpan Health. Rachel now owns her own yoga studio in Harrisburg, PA and is over the moon to add in personal training again in her career. Her goal is to help celebrate everybody that wants to focus on their health, get stronger, and prioritize themselves in order to show up big for others. When Rachel is not at the gym, she is either at the yoga studio teaching or practicing, or at home reading and spending time with her husband and two dogs.

Brian Reed
Brian’s passion for exercise and fitness began in high school where he played basketball. From then on, he knew he wanted to help others excel in exercise by having them move better, feel better, and live better. Brian received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology Exercise Science from Pennsylvania State University in 2011. After college, Brian honed his skills teaching multiple large group fitness classes as well as teaching Pilates on Reformers. From there, he worked as a Physical Therapy Aide where he worked with medical professionals to progress patients through exercise treatment programs. Recently he has trained individuals with a range of capacities in private and semi-private training sessions. In his spare time Brian enjoys playing in basketball leagues, slow pitch softball, tennis, and spending time with friends and family.

CALVIN NAUSE
Calvin is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. He played sports throughout his high school career with soccer being his favorite. His passion for sports drew him toward a career in exercise and fitness. During his time at Shippensburg, he was a member of the exercise science club and completed an internship with Shippensburg Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine.
Calvin’s career path began as a physical therapy aide. Over the 3 years that he worked as an aide, he began to realize how much he truly enjoyed working with people to help them become stronger and live healthier lives. He feels one of the most rewarding parts of working in the fitness industry is having an impact on someone’s journey toward feeling the best they possibly can.
